The SOTEX enterprise was founded in 1992 and today is the largest manufacturer of automotive components in the country. The main activity of the company is the production of elastic polyurethane foam (PUF) – car seat gaskets. 

The number of the company is over 500 people. 

The company develops the production of seats. Starting with the production of bus seats together with the German company Vogel-Sitze, today JSC "NPP "SOTEX" has mastered the production of seats of its own models. 

The development of automotive production in Russia, the opening of new car assembly plants in St. Petersburg and Kaluga sets new goals and objectives for the company, and the company plans to open production of automotive seat components in these regions and launch new modern lines at the head site in Nizhny Novgorod to meet the growing need for parts and meet more stringent requirements for the quality of the products.
